Spotted is a dating app that provides a platform for socializing and making friends based on real-life interactions. It aims to connect people who have crossed paths or spent time in the same places but haven't had the opportunity to connect.

It's important to note that Spotted is not just a dating app for strangers to date each other. Instead, it connects you with singles in your vicinity, offering a second chance to meet and socialize.

After installing the app on your smartphone and enabling GPS tracking, you will be regularly located. The app will then show you people who have been in the same places as you at the same time, allowing you to reconnect with familiar faces.

The platform serves as a gateway to:

Discover and make friends who frequent your favorite spots
Engage in conversations with nearby individuals
Create meaningful relationships with like-minded people
Write anonymous posts and meet people to hang out with

So how does it work?

To begin making friends, dating, or socializing, simply create an account on Spotted. Some of the key features of Spotted include:

Fast onboarding using your Facebook account credentials for sign-up
Create a profile based on your preferences
GPS tracking to locate yourself and discover people nearby
Filter people by age or gender based on your interests
See who has visited your profile
Add up to 6 pictures from your phone or Facebook gallery
Send unlimited winks to other members for free
A wink from someone who has already winked at you creates a match
Start chatting with your matches

In addition, Spotted recommends two matches per day to each user. Within a 12-hour window, users can only send messages to these matches.

When creating your profile, you'll need to enter information such as your name, birthday, gender, and allow real-time location tracking for optimal functionality. The more information you add to your profile, the better matches you will receive.

One of the features accessible from the bottom navigation bar is Profile Visitors. Here, you can view the profiles of users who have checked your profile, including their name, profile picture, age, and the time they viewed your profile. Each user's profile can be fully viewed once every 12 hours. If a user has not completed their profile, they will not be able to view other profiles. A pop-up will prompt them to complete their profile in such cases. Additionally, if two users have been nearby each other, you can see the places they have both visited.

When both users wink at each other, it creates a match. This allows you to initiate conversations with your matches.
